Illinois at Wisconsin
- Wisconsin -24.5, Over / Under 39
Illinois will not be able to contribute very much and I don’t think the Badgers have 40 points in ’em so I’ll take that under. Going to take the points, too. Wisconsin could dominate and win it 24-0 and still not cover that big a spread.
Indiana vs Penn State
- Penn State -7.5, O/U 59
While I think Indiana can pull off the upset, I’d say seven out of ten times Penn State wins. Among those seven, I’d say the majority are by enough to cover this narrow spread. Give me the red hot Lions.
Iowa vs Michigan
- Michigan -21.5, O/U 50.5
My gut tells me 56-0. I’ll take Michigan and the over as a result.
Maryland vs Ohio State
- Ohio State -29.5, O/U 57
Last week Maryland lost 59-3 after Perry Hills went down with injury. With his health concerns, I’ll take the Buckeyes and the over as OSU coasts to a big victory.
Michigan State vs Rutgers
- Michigan State -14, O/U 56
Rutgers has been really close to winning the last two weeks. Their margin of defeat combined the last two games is just eight points. I think the Knights find themselves in another tight one so I’ll scoop up those points.
Minnesota at Nebraska
- Nebraska -6.5, O/U 48
Nebraska has not done well the last two weeks against physical teams. Like a boxer who has just taken one on the chin, NU is a little wobbly and in comes a Minnesota team that has another good physical running game. I’ll take the Gophers because I think they have a great shot at the upset victory.
Northwestern at Purdue
- Northwestern -13, O/U 58.5
Last week I escaped a 17 point spread for Minnesota by taking Purdue and the margin was 13. Incidentally, all of Purdue’s losses have been by 13+. If NU finds a way to win – which I think they can even with PU playing a little bit better – I expect the 2 TD trend to continue. I’ll ride or die with the Cats.
Western Michigan vs Buffalo
- No Line, Game Friday
WMU is bucking their MACtion trend the last two weeks and will play their next game on Friday as part of the week 12 lineup.
