Illinois at Northwestern
- UI -14.5, Over / Under 38.0
Ideally for Illinois, Iowa loses Friday and then while they are taking on NU, Purdue falls further and further behind so they start to pour it on knowing they are going to Indy. Since that is kind of complex, I’ll make it simple…Illinois is a solid team and NU isn’t it. I trust Illinois to get a win. Will it be by enough? I have no idea, but they at least have a shot to cover.
Purdue at Indiana
- PU -10.5, O/U 53.5
Purdue stunk it up against Northwestern, only winning by eight. Hoosiers are way better than NU. They might get frisky in this rivalry and hang around. Purdue wins but by just seven, give me the points.
Nebraska at Iowa
- UI -10.5, O/U 38.0
This rivalry has been a single score game seemingly every year. Why would I trust this year would be any different with Iowa’s wretched offense? Taking the points.
Rutgers at Maryland
- UM -14.0, O/U 48.5
Which Maryland team will show up? Zero clue. But I trust them more than Rutgers. Give me the Turtles.
Michigan at Ohio State
- OSU -8.0, O/U 55.5
I trust Ohio State’s quarterback and not Michigan’s. It is that simple. Bucks cover in an all-time classic.
Michigan State at Penn State
- PSU -19.0, O/U 53.0
Looking for a double dip as I have Penn State winning big and putting up a ton of points to get us the over.
Minnesota at Wisconsin
- UW -3.0, O/U 36.5
Maybe I’m too much of an Iowa homer and letting Iowa’s results against these two, but I don’t really trust either of these teams. As a result I’ll take the under and assume we get a defensive grinder.
