2022: Week 12 Gambling Guide

Illinois at Michigan

  • UM -17.0, Over / Under 41.5

Hmm, awful temperatures, possible snow, two amazing defenses – how is this game getting out of the thirties? I believe Michigan will win, but I’m not confident enough to bet the spread; however.

Indiana at Michigan State

  • MSU -12.0, O/U 47.5

Spartans have not demonstrated that they are double digit points better than anyone in the league, why would I trust them to win by two touchdowns against the Hoosiers?

Iowa at Minnesota

  • UM -2.0, O/U 31.5

Word on the street is pretty strong that freshman Athan Kaliakmanis will get the start as Tanner Morgan is still nursing an injury. He an under 50% passer with. 1TD and 3 picks. Him going against Iowa’s defense? Points please.

Ohio State at Maryland

  • OSU -26.0, O/U 62.5

Four touchdowns is a pretty big mark this late in the season but the way UM has looked the last few weeks, the Bucks could take this one 28-0 by just getting a score each quarter in a rather ho-hum affair.

Wisconsin at Nebraska

  • UW -10.0, O/U 40.5

A double dip here – 1) has Wisconsin proven capable of being 10 points better than anyone? 2) It is going to be about 10 degrees in Lincoln, points feel very few and far between. Feels like a classic 13-10 slobberknocker so I will also pick up the under.

Northwestern at Purdue

  • PU -17.5, O/U -44.5

Northwestern is hot garbage. Purdue needs to keep winning to go to Indy. Taking the Train big.

Penn State at Rutgers

  • PSU -18.5, O/U 45.0

Rutgers looked competent a week ago, but I don’t trust them against ranked foes just yet. Lions feast.
