Michigan State at Illinois
- UI -16.0, Over / Under 40.5
This pick is pretty simple: Illinois’s offense is extremely efficient and MSU’s defense has been dreadful, especially against the run. Do you remember the Minnesota and Michigan Games for MSU? I do. UI covers.
Penn State at Indiana
- PSU -13.5, O/U 50.5
Taking out the context of PSU’s mental state after the emotional loss versus Ohio State and going strictly by business, Penn State is two touchdowns better than the Hoosiers.
Iowa at Purdue
- PU -3.5, O/U 39.5
If you bet on Iowa you need to trust their offense. I don’t trust their offense even with showing signs of life against Northwestern because…it was Northwestern. Purdue has had Iowa’s number the last few years. I’m taking them.
Maryland at Wisconsin
- UW -5.0, O/U 49
Maryland’s two losses were by 7 at Michigan and 2 against Purdue. They could have won both games. I’m going to take the points because even if Wisconsin wins, I’d expect it to be in a tight battle and win by a field goal late.
Michigan at Rutgers
- UM -26.0, O/U 45.0
Wolverines let me down a week ago against Michigan State but I still trust them and after watching Minnesota go wild in a 31-0 stomping of Rutgers, I’ll take the over and the Michigan cover.
Minnesota at Nebraska
- UM -14.5, O/U 44.5
Well poop, which Minnesota team will show up? Which Nebraska team will show up? I don’t fully trust either team to cover or keep it close. So I’ll take the over. I think there is enough offensive potential with these teams to generate some points. Even a 24-21 game gets us the over. Let’s take that.
Ohio State at Northwestern
- OSU -38.0, O/U 55.5
I had the misfortune of watching Northwestern a week ago. They’re dreadful. Bucks and over.
