Indiana Vs Western Kentucky
- IU -7.0, Over / Under 61.5
I put the Hoosiers on Upset Alert so obviously I’m taking the points! WKU might lose, but I see this one being way closer than Vegas. One to three point game in my opinion.
Iowa vs Nevada
- UI -24.0, O/U 39.5
Can Iowa score 24 points? I know, I know, it is an easy joke to make BUT it is a serious question! The offense has one touchdown drive this season and it was just 16 yards. There is zero reason to trust this offense based on results. Take the points. I’m also nabbing the under because Nevada hasn’t faced a defense as good as Iowa’s this year. This game could be like a 21-14 final.
Maryland vs SMU
- UM -2.5, O/U 73.0
SMU hasn’t played anybody yet and this is a road game, like the Terps in this spot. I also expect a shootout, but something closer to 35-28, that 73 mark is MASSIVE. With the close spread and massive over, Vegas is telling you this game will basically be 42-35. I haven’t seen enough of SMU to trust that they will fly up and down the field the same as Maryland. I’m going to ride the under.
Michigan vs Connecticut
- UM -47.5, O/U 59.0
I got Michigan rolling in this one, probably winning by about 50. Give me the Wolverines to cover that massive spread.
Michigan State at Washington
- UW -3.5, O/U 56.5
Michigan State was terrible against the pass last year and UW transfer QB Michael Penix Jr has nearly 700 yards in two games. Combine that with injuries, a true road trip, AND the nasty Big Ten team travels west curse, I got the Huskies winning. I think they cover this spread in a 7 point victory.
Minnesota vs Colorado
- UM -28.5, O/U 47.5
The Buffs are god awful. They will easily give up 50+ this game so take the over. They will also lose by about 35. Take the Gophers. If you don’t believe me, watch what triple option Air Force did in their 41-10 win over Colorado and then take a look at UM’s offensive line and running backs. This game will get so ugly so fast.
Nebraska vs Oklahoma
- OU -10.5, O/U 66.5
Ten points? Ten Points? This is taking candy from a baby. OU all day. They are winning by 4 or 5 touchdowns. I’m not making it an official pick, but, for degenerates out there that over is interesting. What if OU wins like 56-14? It’s possible…think about it. For everyone else, just take OU to cover.
Northwestern vs Southern Illinois
- NU -13.5, O/U 58.5
Ya gotta take, NU, right? They need to bounce back from that ugly Duke game, they are at home, and SIU is a 0-2 FCS club. Surely they win by two touchdowns. Right? Yes? Oh crap, we are trusting the Cardiac Cats.
Ohio State vs Toledo
- OSU -31.5, O/U 62.5
Buckeyes looked a lot sharper in their 33 point win over Arkansas State than they did against Notre Dame. I expect a similar performance as that ASU game. Give me the Bucks.
Penn State at Auburn
- PSU -2.5, O/U 47.5
This is a no-brainer. PSU has the better team and the better coach. The only reason this line is where it is, is because Auburn is an SEC team playing at home. I expect Penn State to win this by at least two scores.
Purdue at Syracuse
- SU -1.5, O/U 59.5
Purdue can score on anybody but hasn’t shown me much defensively. Syracuse has one of the best backs in America. I expect a LOT of points. 70+ scored wouldn’t surprise me. Safe to say this game will be in the 60s. Give me that over. Who is going to win? This is Purdue, anything can happen! Just ride the over.
Rutgers at Temple
- RU -18.0, O.U 43.5
Temple looked so out classed by Duke. I’m going to say Rutgers wins by 3 touchdowns. Of course that could mean the game is 21-0 since RU’s defense is no joke. Knights and the under. Expect a lot of unders with RU, fyi.
Wisconsin vs New Mexico State
- UW -37.5, O/U 45.0
I see both numbers being toast. Gophers called off the attack on their old coach 38-0 in the opener. UW has no reason to play nice AND coming off the surprising Washington State lost they will be angry. I could see this one being something like 52-3. Badgers big and the over.
