Illinois at Nebraska
- NU -17.0, Over / Under 71.5
This should sound familiar but…will Nebraska cover? I don’t know. Will Illinois cover? Zero clue. What I do know is neither of these teams are playing much defense. Despite being an O/U in the 70s, I’m still taking that over.
Indiana at Maryland
- IU -1.0, O/U 55.0
I’m not convinced Indiana’s defense can stop Maryland enough to win so I am going to avoid the spread and just look at that over/under. Both of these teams can move the ball on lesser defenses. One, or both, these clubs could get into the 30s and that will be enough to cook the over, so bet that.
Iowa vs Northwestern
- UI -11.0, O/U 46.0
This Iowa team is poised for a huge let down at home against NU. Give me those points and take the under. Watch the game end 21-20 as Iowa has a PAT blocked resulting in the most gut-wrenching means of defeat to these damn Cats.
Michigan at Rutgers
- UM -37.0, O/U 45.0
Big spread be damned, Michigan wins huge. Might not be 78-0 but I’m taking the Wolverines big and think they hit 50+ alone to go over.
Michigan State vs Ohio State
- OSU -3.5, O/U 49.0
I know the Spartan D will make this thing ugly but I don’t see the Spartans having nearly enough points in them to keep this thing close once Ohio State pulls away. Buckeyes cover in a two touchdown victory.
Minnesota vs Purdue
- PU -10.5, O/U 58.5
After watching Illinois run circles around the Gophers, I’ll take the Boilers in a lopsided victory. They cover.
Penn State vs Wisconsin
- PSU -7.5, O/U 53.0
Yeah, this is where I have to get off the UW express. I trusted them against Northwestern, they lost. A week later I trusted them ATS with Rutgers and they won in a sloppy affair. Penn State is playing better football and are at home. Lions might not smoke them, but they should cover.
