Thanks Mountain West, now I need to look at my last few spots…..wait. I DIDN’T have Fresno State ranked?!?! So I don’t have to change a thing, just some re-ordering? Well this should be pretty easy then.
Real AP Poll:
- Clemson (43)
- Oklahoma (18)
- Georgia
- Alabama – No, no, no, NO! They do not belong in the playoffs! What the hell is the point of playing 12 regular season games and a conference title game and scheduling tough when Alabama can play Mercer in November, not win their division or league, and magically be in the “playoffs.” I told you this comittee was hot garbage and they made the…shocker…wrong call.

Josh’s Top 25:
- Clemson
- Oklahoma
- Ohio State
- Georgia – SEC was bad this year. SEC east was a joke. SEC will go 0-2 in the “playoffs.”

- TCU
- Miami
- Oklahoma State

- Troy – Yes, Boise State beat Troy this season. Yes, I had Boise sniffing around the poll. Yes, Boise beat Fresno State to win the Mountain West. But you know what, since that loss at Boise, Troy has gone 10-1, won at LSU, and won their conference while Boise State went 9-3, won at SDSU, and won their conference. I’m as high as anyone on SDSU and that is because of Rashard Penny but in terms of environment and athletes on the field, Troy’s win is much more impressive. For the record, I would also pick LSU to beat San Diego State in Baton Rouge. But Josh, you have SDSU ranked way above LSU! I know. My poll keeps you where you are you climb as long as your winning. As a result I don’t have a huge gain or fall based on one outcome. It is called being rational and avoiding things like…Auburn falling 10 spots after losing to LSU. For the record, my fall for AU was small 5 spot drop. I have countless other examples. Oh, and this is the best poll on the internet.
