To be perfectly blunt, Illinois has a terrible defense. Gophers cruise to a 17 point victory, 31-14.
Indiana at Michigan State
MSU -6.5, O/U 48
Sparty hasn’t lost a league game and is not even a touchdown favorite at home to a Hoosier team without a league win yet. I’ll give those points up in a heartbeat. MSU defense is also for real. Take that under.
Iowa at Northwestern
Northwestern -2, O/U 46
Dangerously low but based on the weather, the defenses, and the lack of pop from either offense, I’ll take the under. I think Iowa finds a way to win on the road, too.
Maryland at Wisconsin
Wisconsin -24, O/U 51
I know Maryland won’t score too much but let’s say they can scratch out a touchdown or two, does Alex Hornibrook have 30+ points in him? Haven’t seen it yet. I’ll take the points.
Michigan at Penn State
PSU -7.5, O/U 43
Seen this spread closer to 10 on some other sites. Not sure what those people are looking at. Michigan has ZERO offense. Penn State has a Heisman hopeful. Lions roll at home and easily cover this spread, 35-10. Hey, that goes over too!
Purdue at Rutgers
Purdue -9.5, O/U 52
Why is this spread so high? Even if Purdue wins on the road, I expect another nail-biter. Give me the home dog.
