Illinois vs Michigan State

This feels like a stay away as MSU’s spark in the form of QB Brian Lewerke sustained a season ending injury last week. They turn back to Tyler O’Connor who has been up and down, to say the least. Still, MSU’s running game showed some promise last week against Michigan and Illinois has their own QB issues with third stringer Jeff George Jr starting lately. Degenerates should take MSU to cover.
Indiana at Rutgers
- Indiana -13.5, O/U 58
Hoosier offense was outstanding a week ago against Maryland. Terps are much better than this Scarlet Knight team. I’ll lay the points and scoop up the over as well.
Iowa at Penn State
- Penn State -6.5, O/U 52
In the Kirk Ferentz era, Iowa has shown no ability to stop duel threat quarterbacks. Guess what Trace McSorley is? Penn State rolls.
Maryland at Michigan
- Michigan -30.5, O/U 54
Maryland’s offense with a healthy Perry Hills is really strong. I think they can stick within 30. Besides, 28 points is an absolute blowout and still isn’t enough in this one.
Minnesota vs Purdue
- Minnesota -17, O/U 57
Gophers and two touchdown spreads have been a disaster this year. I’ll scoop up those points. C’mon, Boilers! Let David Blough sling it, baby!
Nebraska at Ohio State
- Ohio State -17.5, O/U 52
Nebraska is a top ten team, why are they such a big underdog? Look for them to keep it close in a losing effort. Ohio State will explode at some point, I just don’t see it this week against that vastly improved Blackshirt d the Huskers have.
Northwestern vs Wisconsin
- Wisconsin -7, O/U 41
Two good defensive teams and one of them is offensively challenged. That looks like an under to me. As for that spread? I’ll take Northwestern to keep it tight again. Wisconsin escapes with a four point win, 21-17.
Western Michigan at Kent State
